Hazel Elizabeth Reese

Hazel was born on September 4th at 4:16 a.m. and was 5 pounds 3 ounces.  We love her so much and she brings such a sweet little spirit into our house.  We are so glad she is here and that she is healthy and happy!  It was kind of a crazy day when she was born we were up in Logan and Zach, my Dad, and Josh were going to play golf and me Shana and Tommy were going to go to the zoo.  Well we were walking into the zoo and my water started leaking.  So we hurried to the hospital and they did a test to see if it was my water breaking and it came back negative so we left.  Zach and my Dad decided they wanted to go golfing again and me and Tommy were going to go with them, this time we just went to Layton.  Well Hazel really didn't want them to play golf because as soon as we got the golf carts and were ready to go my water broke for real.  So we hurried to the hospital again and got all checked in.  I was still barely dialated when we got there and it took a long time for me to get to a three but the next time they checked me I was at a six and then about an hour later I was ready to push.  I only had to push about three times and she was here.  Overall I was in labor for about 12 hours.  I was so glad that I was able to have a V-Back because it is so much better then having a c-section.  We are loving having her here with us though I really didn't expect her for about three more weeks she just wanted to come on her own time.

6 years

I cant believe we have been married for six years!  I am so glad that I get to spend eternity with Zach he is my best friend and is such an amazing husband and father and I don't know what I would do without him.   My Dad was so great and watched Tommy for us so we could go on a date.  We went to a movie and then Dinner at the Cooper Onion which was so Yummy!

the 4th

We had a really fun fourth of July even though Zach had to work most of the day :(.  We went to Bumpy's and Nanas for breakfast and then went to the Kaysville parade, later we did some fireworks at my Mom's house and then went back and watched the Kaysville fireworks.  Tommy loved the parade and he loved getting all the candy!  I think his favorite part of the day though was doing fireworks he thought that that was the coolest thing ever.  Overall it was a really fun day!

Waiting for the parade with Grant, Tommy loves him!

Doing fireworks with Daddy, he loved it!
